Review on 🍷 Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Opener Set with Aerating Pourer, Foil Cutter, and Rechargeable Stand by Brian Samaiyar

This thing didn't pop the cork right out of the box - real cork, not plastic. I have an old Rabbit rechargeable wine bottle opener that gets used so often it's dead battery. I wanted to replace it with a new one with a charging station, so I ordered this Ozeri. The rabbit correctly ejected corks, including plastic ones, every time. The thing failed on the first try with a real cork. The problem seems to be that the ribs in the plastic wrap that are supposed to stop the cork from spinning don't hold the cork tight enough so it just spins when the opener tries to push it out. I think this is a design flaw and not a problem with this particular device. This ozeri appears to have a powerful motor, looks good and feels good in the hand, but it doesn't do what an electric wine opener is supposed to do. Another example of a manufacturer making their products in China where prices and quality are low. Things that don't work properly get a star. It will be returned to Amazon.
