This thing didn't pop the cork right out of the box - real cork, not plastic. I have an old Rabbit rechargeable wine bottle opener that gets used so often it's dead battery. The Ozeri Wine Bottle Opener works great especially when used with real corks. It works perfectly and it's great to see how it works. However, we immediately noticed that he had problems working with artificial traffic jams. While it does its job of removing it from the bottle, the opener has trouble getting the faux cork off the hook. Like the grip was too slippery or something for it to work properly.
