Great reasonable upgrade for an Ikea Karlstad chair

I have an old Ikea Karlstad chair which is bulky, low and rather unattractive but very comfortable. Those 8 inch legs gave it some much needed height and looks. I was concerned that the wood finish would look plasticky, but the stain was natural enough for me. The screws go directly into the existing holes in the bottom of the chair. It took a few extra turns to tighten and the screws aren't as long as the ones Ikea uses so I'll have to see how sturdy they are, but I'm very pleased so far!
