Review on DEWALT DWPVTC14 14 Piece Pivot Holder by Christopher Ruth

I recently purchased one of these sets after having to hand tighten some screws in a confined space due to not being able to work at a slight angle. Shortly after I started looking, I was thrilled to discover that DeWalt had made this handy swivel tool for just that purpose, and I ordered it straight away. I later discovered that this tool was included in a number of DeWalt shockproof kits and I particularly regret not purchasing the 20 piece DEWALT DWMTCIR20 shockproof magnet housing set instead. Whilst this kit might be a bit more expensive you can compare the overall cost of this item to the excellent magnetic case which is also available in the DEWALT DWMTC15 15-Piece Magnetic ToughCase. Or, if you're already interested in bits, sets, and cases, you can purchase this tool separately (DEWALT DWPVTHLD Swivel Bit Tip Holder with Ring) and save a few bucks. So, I have nothing against this tool, but it can be said that it has become a victim of its own success (and widespread inclusion in more useful kits: see also DEWALT DW2169 38 Piece Impact Driver Ready Accessory Set). In any case, I hope that people will find it useful to familiarize themselves with alternative incarnations of this product and they will not make hasty purchases.
