This lock can work well after installation. It appears to be well made and the quality of the materials is good. But I couldn't program it to accept the new code. The only way to open it with code was if an override key was also inserted. After my third try, I asked some tech-savvy friends to read the instructions and then watch me go through the steps; same result. I also reached out to the manufacturer and to their credit they responded with several offers to try. But by the time I got their reply I had already returned this one and purchased, installed and programmed a similar Kwikset lock.
