Wow! I've been procrastinating on adding CO2 to my aquarium for years, it all sounded so expensive and complicated that of course my attempts at creating planted aquariums never really worked out well. This system is AMAZING! You get full customization, just order baking soda and citric acid. The instructions are great, setup takes minutes, and the hardware is solid. I ended up replacing the bubble counter with a stronger one, simply because the one that came with it was gradually losing water, even though it worked fine. As my tank is 125g I also switched to a CO2 reactor instead of the diffuser that came with the tank but that's just personal preference, the diffuser supplied was of very good quality. And since this setup has a solenoid valve, I can use a timer to turn off the CO2 when the lights are off, which most DIY setups can't do. I've been using this device for 3 weeks now with no issues and even used up a tank of homemade CO2 which by my rough estimate cost me around $2.64. And judging by the absolute growth explosion of my plants, it's very effective!
