Review on Dell U2518D LED Lit Monitor - Enhanced Compatibility for 2560X1440P by Jason Lambert

Used monitors with defects

I ordered two without realizing at first that they were used when I clicked buy. I never order used. When I opened them I found they had been used but decided to give it a try. They didn't clean the screens well and they had stains from the wipes used so I ordered wipes to clean them but never did. They just sent one HDMI cable to each monitor which is useless. They should also supply DisplayPort cables or by default. Most new laptop monitor docks now don't even have two HDMI ports, so I had to order my own cables separately at an additional cost. Keep in mind these monitors are less than $100 from brand new and I have now bought cables and screen cloth. One monitor didn't even work. It doesn't recognize the connected Displayport cable, but the other one does. Tried several cables. Definitely a problem with the monitor. Another monitor had aesthetic flaws such as B. Missing the letter L on the front of the word DELL, making it look like a cheap fake, as well as some other trinkets. To make it short. I return them and buy new ones to avoid similar problems with used ones.
