It works, but it's not that easy. I use the blue one with a Mr Longer pole up to 24ft long. My overhead light is about 20 feet tall. For a conventional RB30 downlight this is relatively easy. Easys Park removes an old lightbulb. A new installation requires some practice. Place the bulb in the center of the mug and press the center of the hole until you hear a clear sound. At this point the assembly is in place and you can rotate. Don't over tighten. Then tilt the rod a few degrees to separate the cup. You need to be careful at this stage as some recessed lights are not attached very securely. You can pull the whole assembly off if you're not careful. For built-in eyesights, that really hurts. The build is very flexible and difficult to target. Worst of all, the eyeball lighting unit is fragile and can be pulled out very easily. You have to use a longer pole than necessary and bend a few degrees to loosen the cup.
