Just installed. Releases serious air. Says it needs a 60 amp fuse which I believe requires 6 gauge wire. However, the wires on the fan are only 14 gauge, so I'm assuming 60 amps of peak current when turned on. And probably 30-40 amps on average. 6 gauge is quite a heavy gauge wire. I don't think it's necessary at all. But the fan is assembled very well and is very firm in the hands. All ends of the blades are connected by an outer ring. The wires are protected by a nice rubber sheath for protection. All in all, a good thing for fans. I hope it goes the distance.
