A kick @ss fan! - Spares

I love this fan! Put one on my turbo car and it's going to have a hard time keeping the coolant temp constant beforehand. Now not only is it stable, but it can cool down to a lower temperature if I set it lower. Love it. I buy another one every day for my turbo. A cool fan.

SPAL does a great job with engine cooling and air conditioning

I originally had 12 inch fans on ebay. The car kept turning them on to keep the car cool. On hot summer days, the car slowly overheats. I tested them side by side. The spal is about 100 times stronger than the spal below, ebay junk above. I have a video on YouTube comparing the two titled 12 Spal vs 12 Ebay fans.

Didn't cool at all

I bought 2 other fans for my Pontiac 455. They didn't cool at all. On a normal day I would run 225 plus. Removed them and replaced them with Spal fans. OMG what a difference! The car goes 185-190 on 1 fan. Turn on the second fan and watch the temperature gauge begin to drop. There are incredible ones. Would recommend her to everyone!

turbo fan. best fans and parts

Just installed. Releases serious air. Says it needs a 60 amp fuse which I believe requires 6 gauge wire. However, the wires on the fan are only 14 gauge, so I'm assuming 60 amps of peak current when turned on. And probably 30-40 amps on average. 6 gauge is quite a heavy gauge wire. I don't think it's necessary at all. But the fan is assembled very well and is very firm in the hands. All ends of the blades are connected by an outer ring. The wires are protected by a nice rubber sheath for…

THESE EFFECTS! (in a good way!)

Great fans! Really move the air. I use 2x of this on a lifted dirt truck. The original mechanical fan was constantly being bent by dirt and rocks. They draw a TON of current, over 30A each. Both require a 120A relay to power them. Most cheap fan harnesses will not fit. I actually had to install a larger generator to power both! I can now turn off the fans BEFORE walking through the mud swamp and turn them on to cool it down quickly when I exit (when I exit?). Other electric fans I've tried just
