I can't find the theory of the surgery anywhere - it clearly doesn't work as advertised as it's not even remotely possible - but I thought it was probably some sort of multifocal laser surgery and flexion one Third of the light as +.5, one third as +1.5 and one third as +2.5. As long as either of these methods worked for you, you would see clearly, with a bit of blurring and reduced contrast. At least I hoped so. I don't know how it's supposed to work, it just isn't (for me). It has a very small area where it's really useful - equivalent to +2.5 I think - and looks weird and even gives me a bit of a headache in that area. It definitely doesn't work in the +.5 or +1.5 ranges for me. They completely fail for the entire reason of their purchase.
