I originally purchased this in March 2021. It barely got any use and was never on salt water, but by March 2022 the motor quit working and the internal components were completely corroded. I was disappointed, as this is advertised as salt water compatible, and this had never even been on salt water. I contacted the company, and they initially wanted me to take the motor apart and they would send replacement parts. I told them everything was corroded, and I don't know if it can be fixed. They immediately sent a replacement trolling motor at no cost. While it's hard to review the quality of the product at this point since the first product itself had major issues, they addressed them adequately and without hassle. This company's customer service is top notch!
