Review on πŸ”Ž Discover Accurately with Starrett 827A Finders Diameter Contact by Reed Nuttbrock

Starrett isn't Starrett anymore.

If you don't need precision, that's fine. It's a bit shorter (compared to most) when using 3/8 cat50, but I think it fits in collets. will never find with a drill chuck. Using a .375"cat 50 holder on the new Summit HBM110h, this edge finder consistently deviates from .002 (yes, I've tried other holders and tg/er32/&er40 collet holders). If you're concerned about accuracy, buy a Brown & Sharpe. To me it didn't live up to the Starrett name. Starrett seems to be declining in quality and making too many overseas. It was made in the USA I believe but still not very accurate or of high quality Quality I've bought better generics.
