Review on Raspberry Pi 7 Inch Touch Screen by Seth Gibbons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Okay, but not all ports are available.

The case is good enough and mostly does the job for the components it was made for. A few things could be better: 1. As mentioned in another post, you don't have access to the Pi's micro SD card slot unless you take it apart again or cut the slot into the case itself. 2. As in the previous case, the USB power connector is closed on the screen. So if you want to power both, by powering the display and then using a standard USB to Micro USB to power the Pi, you can't do that without some kind of hole/slot to cut into the case. It's weird to hide things like that. You can power the display from the Pi, but it uses some GPIO pins, which in turn prevents you from connecting a GPIO ribbon cable. Alternatively, you can use a micro USB hub or two power adapters.3. The case is quite tight with the ribbon cable to the DSI connector (display side). That's not a problem, but a little more space would have been desirable, otherwise a ribbon cable with a 90-degree connector could have been included.

Cons
