It's good but seriously it's upside down

The cover is really good. It's perfect for the official touchscreen, plenty of room for wiring, love the removable back panel and keyhole wall mounts. But I can't give more than 3 stars in good conscience because everything is upside down! You can rotate the display, but the vertical viewing angle is not configured for this. Since I was mounting on a wall, instead of applying a software fix, I drilled through the small side of the keyhole wall mounts to make them larger and flip them. You need…

Very good case for Pi and 7 inch screen

The fit and finish of this case is very good and it goes very well with the Pi and 7 inch screen. The case gets 4 stars instead of 5 because you have to leave the mounting screws loose during reassembly so the Pi and screen fit properly in the case. then you can tighten things up, it takes a few seconds to play around with it. Reading other reviews makes me wonder how many Pi cases other reviewers have bought. I have several cases and this one ranks very well, not to mention the design is…

Landing was ok. The quality of the plastic case is excellent

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I installed my RP and RP screen in a few minutes. No flipped screen. Landing was ok. The quality of the plastic case is excellent. The only minor issue was the location of the power connector on both the RP board and the RP shield and the case was a bit out of order and difficult to plug in the cable. A star is disabled because the SIMM card is not being accessed. If you are having a flip screen problem, the box has instructions for adding the…

Almost perfect for RPi 3

My late brother left an RPi 3 with a touchscreen installed on it. His daughters are interested in using it so I bought it. I had to disassemble the Pi and use standoffs and some tiny nuts to tether the Pi to the interface board but not screw to the touchscreen. So the Pi and the interface board lined up with the holes in the case. It's tucked away so they don't need to be mounted elsewhere. Since in this case there is a base to place all the ports on, it also causes the screen to tip over. No…

Bad shape? Best Among Single Board Computers

Case along with official v2 camera, RP 3 B and 7 inch screen arrived yesterday. I spent a few hours trying to figure out why the case didn't fit. The RP board is attached to the screen as shown in the YouTube installation video of the case. Not as easy as I saw in the video Install the case, unscrew all but one screw holding the RP to the screen. The remaining one is behind the wall mount hole, leave the screw loose to move the RP so its peripherals fit the holes in the case. Now everything…

Okay, but not all ports are available.

The case is good enough and mostly does the job for the components it was made for. A few things could be better: 1. As mentioned in another post, you don't have access to the Pi's micro SD card slot unless you take it apart again or cut the slot into the case itself. 2. As in the previous case, the USB power connector is closed on the screen. So if you want to power both, by powering the display and then using a standard USB to Micro USB to power the Pi, you can't do that without some kind of…
