I bought this replacement fuel filter and line because they are the same as the original parts. First you need to remove the plastic cap from the fuel line. Next you need to cut the end of the fuel line at an angle to allow the hose to fit through the hole in the tank. You then need to find or make a bent piece of metal that you can use to push down on the top of the fuel filter port to fully seat the fuel filter in the tank. Then put the plastic donut back on the fuel line and place it on the end of the line coming out of the tank. Then pull the string through the hole in the plastic panel where the original string went through. Cut the square end and slip the fuel line over the brass fitting on the carburetor. Works perfectly.
