I understand why this product has a high rating. I was not disappointed. Very easy to fill up. Doesn't spill. And produces perfectly round balls. It is also very easy to squeeze out the ice ball. Fill halfway, then make sure the two halves are tightly sealed and fill the rest, allowing some water to drain out, then turn upside down until the water stops dripping, then freeze with the hole side up. I have a 6 ball silicone bowl and it's a lot more cumbersome to use and causes a lot of spills and mess. I like these individual ice ball shapes better. Just remember that it takes 6-8 hours for an ice cream ball to freeze completely. You may want to buy more sets when entertaining guests or skating.
