Bits from Freud are more expensive but the quality and durability are excellent. High quality carbide bits that are more than just a thin coating like most. They are incredibly sharp and stay sharp even after prolonged use. I don't usually need to sand after using them. You can use cheaper bits, but sometimes they won't fit the collet or chip the wood. A failed project will cost you more in wood and time.
