This is a good tool. It helps a lot when removing the tie rod. We have a car that I don't think anyone changed much on, and if they did, it was the wrong parts. Rusty parts are a nuisance and the tie rods will need to be replaced. Husband bought this product. At first he thought it was wrong. He thought it wasn't about the tie rods we have. However, he got it wrong and figured it out through trial and error. It fitted perfectly and helped him fix the tie rod. The case isn't big, but it keeps it in one place. I really think it's a very specific tool and obviously won't be useful for anything else. Still, it's better than paying someone else a bunch of money for tie rod repairs.
