Garbage. Garbage. Don't buy this.

Complete and absolute rubbish. The dimensions do not correspond to the information. I couldn't use these to replace the 36mm tie rods on my Chevy van. Eventually I gave up and used an adjustable wrench. If you manage to bite through the metal, the adapters will bend and lose their grip. Buy cheap tools, get cheap performance. Don't waste your money and time with this product.

Much better than workarounds and much cheaper than a high quality tool.

May need some sanding or filing to work with your vehicle's inner tie rod ends but for the price it's a great deal. I was able to go up the next size up which was quite loose but that worked for me. Based on other reviews if they were really tight I would have expected to take the next size down and open them up to fit.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Out of style

Incorrect Dimensions: Steering & Suspension Tools

None of the wrenches match the stated dimensions. They were all oversized by about 1/16-1/8 inch. Relying on a thick, fool-sized coat of paint is hit or miss. With the set I received it was a big failure. I needed a tie rod tool so I didn't bother with returning it. I used my bench sander to remove the excess paint and get it the right size for a wrench. I could use this tool 3 times. I rescue. In hindsight, I might have bought disposable port freight tools instead. One good thing I can say is…

  • Wide Application

Handy but disposable tool

This is a good tool. It helps a lot when removing the tie rod. We have a car that I don't think anyone changed much on, and if they did, it was the wrong parts. Rusty parts are a nuisance and the tie rods will need to be replaced. Husband bought this product. At first he thought it was wrong. He thought it wasn't about the tie rods we have. However, he got it wrong and figured it out through trial and error. It fitted perfectly and helped him fix the tie rod. The case isn't big, but it keeps it
