As soon as you wrap your head around you.

When I was working on my first Discovery Sock, I had a bit of trouble understanding where Cat was going. However, when I took the time to figure it out, I could see the genius of this new approach. Kat provides some really helpful YouTube videos to help the knitter with some of the more difficult aspects of the design (like casting). on and close recommends them in the book). I was incredibly grateful for this feature as I watched the video multiple times to refresh my memory. There are some beautiful sock patterns in the book itself, but it's not just a sock pattern book, it's a whole new approach. to make a sock. Those looking for mindless knitting, may be disappointed in how the cat wants you to pay attention to what you are doing. Achieving the perfect fit requires more attention than you would expect, but it's a worthwhile investment of your time. But if you're looking for a challenge or are just unhappy with your previous sock attempts, give Personal Footprints a try! PS My Discovery socks look incredibly awkward but they fit amazing! Don't be intimidated by the aesthetics as these will be the most matching pair of socks you will ever own. My Discovery sock looks incredibly awkward but fits amazing!
