I bought this 25mm lens for my Raspberry Pi HD camera and am happy with the quality. The focus adjustment is nice and smooth and has a good focus range. I recorded a short video using my camera as a zoom lens to see small items on my workbench. I turn my desk lamp on and off to demonstrate how it reacts to different lighting conditions and also adjust the focus. The camera is about 300mm away from objects.
