I recently purchased this TIANSE TPU filament because I wanted to experiment with flexible filament on my Ender 3 for modeling or other applications that require a more flexible material than PLA or PETG. . I chose red for the simple reason that I didn't have a single common thread. Overall I am very happy with this thread, see my review below: SPOOL - Seems to be a standard hole, nothing special but should fit almost any standard size spool holder. The thread seems to be wound well; I went through several prints with no binding or confusion. Came packed in a tight vacuum bag, which is always nice! COLOR - Before purchasing I saw many complaints about the color. It's not true red, I think the color "coral" is an apt description. It's a pale red/orange although note that it appears to be a little lighter than the color you see on the reel. Filament Extruder Update for Creality CR-7, CR-10, Ender 2, Ender 3"). Then I printed some small o-rings first so I could insert some glowsticks into a pair of lightsaber hilts I was printing for had my kids The glowsticks I had on hand didn't match the instructions but a couple of meters and 15 minutes in Cura and I had what I thought would work.On the first press I forgot to change the settings. with PLA installed I increased the temp to 225 after the print started and slowed it down a bit but when it pulled in the little o-rings didn't print Problem (see image above) I then wanted to print a flexible octopus which seems to print with flexible filaments , printed again with no problems, although note that it came out VERY fibrous (225 hot end, no heat on bed, 30mm/s), although I think my retract setting is to blame here it's not the filament that is incandescent and I. Not having much experience with flexible filament, I'm amazed at how easy this is to print with very little modification! Honestly it's a lot easier than PETG, almost as easy as PLA. MATERIAL PROPERTIES: I didn't see any reference to Shore Hardness so I'm guessing it's 95A. After cutting a piece straight off the spool it can easily be wrapped around your finger or tied in a knot without damage, I can't tell it stretches. After printing, it is rigid, but can be bent, very slightly elastic, quickly returns to its original state after deformation. With an octopus printed with 20% filling, you can slightly stretch the tentacles and they will bounce back, the head can be easily squeezed, but it takes some effort. GENERAL: Again, I'm no expert on flexible filaments, but I've been into 3D printing for a number of years and generally feel pretty comfortable with the hobby, so I think this is a GREAT product! Very easy to print, no smoke and nice subtle red colour. I look forward to experimenting with this thread!
