I've been experimenting with hole saws for notching pipes. My first purchase was another American hole saw. The variable 4/6 tooth pattern stuck to the thin wall of .120 (and even worse .095) and the saws went out of round immediately. Here is the quality made in USA! Then I tried Starrett Fast Cut. I'm in love! They work really well. The RPM is maintained at 180-200 with a 1-1/2 inch saw with some cutting oil. They cut the pipe like butter compared to the manufacture I tried first. Three cuts caused the saw to run too fast. Today I have many cuts and my teeth are fine. Highly recommended!
