Mounted on several windows in preparation for winter. With a thermometer, I could tell the difference when it came to keeping cold air outside the home. HOWEVER, the tape that comes with these kits is complete crap. Even after cleaning painted wooden surfaces and loosely applied shrink film, the adhesive tape can still come off very easily. I've only used clear tape on the outside of the packaging to solve this problem, but I'm not sure if these bags are really worth it when I buy tape and plastic in bulk. For now they will fit but I recommend various products especially 3m products because they work well.
