Review on Piston Rebuild Kit for Softener 60102 00 with Spacers by Brant Skogen

If your Fleck 5600 is leaking, you need this repair kit!

As my name suggests if your Fleck 5600 is leaking near your head you need this repair kit. For reference, the water softener I needed to fix had a Fleck 5600 Econominder head unit that uses a gray piston. salt valve. As an added bonus, this kit also comes with an o-ring that fits under the brine valve. This was the only kit I found that said it was included! This o-ring is required to properly replace the old brine valve and install the new brine valve. Removing the Fleck 5600 main unit is easy as it only requires two keys and a few minutes of your time. You can find out how to do this on YouTube. There are some videos showing how to do this and how easy it is. You remove old parts and put in these new parts, and if you take the time and watch the video beforehand, you can get your water softener working properly and leak-free again! If you call a plumber to do this job, it will cost you hundreds of dollars to come out and replace the parts. If you do it yourself, it will only cost you $50 and a few hours of your time. All the parts I received in my kit were branded Fleck parts, not cheap imitations that some places sell. It was an added bonus. And since all the parts are Fleck, they all fitted perfectly and went in with no problems.
