Received this end mill from USPS on Sunday as promised. My goal was to cut a slot .375 wide and .375 deep in a piece of cold rolled 1 inch round bar. This was for a blade guide bracket on an antique Delta band saw. Rong Fu) for the mechanical part of this project. This end mill cut great, although the difficulty of changing three belts to get the right cutting speed meant I ended up using too low a RPM. very good, did the job in eight consecutive passes. Too much overcut at low speed resulted in a lot of chatter so I had to take my time. After that, the knife still felt as sharp as before. I am very happy with this operation.
