"Weather Station” led me down an inaccurate path. I expected that we would set this up in more or less a stationary location. Our interest in it is derived from our hillside location in the Sierra foothills, between towns, where we seldom get accurate weather forecasting of wind velocity, temperature or humidity. We get destructive winds which could cause problems because we are a lavender farm getting ready to plant our first acre. The experimental plot we planted last year survived the winds and torrential rains, but they were more mature plants. So, to discover that this is a handheld anemometer requires a new plan! The equipment arrives in a convenient case, and the instructions are detailed and easy to follow. The equipment is obviously well-made and impressive. We’ll be experimenting with it this summer to find the best location to take readings. I’ll amend this review to reflect our experience.
