Wonderful first chess set!
This was purchased for my elementary age children to learn to play chess with. I was looking for a modestly priced set that was still made of wood and had a nice feel to the pieces, and this has been wonderful! The molded storage inside the board is great for keeping track of the chessmen whenever my kids move the board. It’s very well made for the price, and fun to play with!
- Could have come with directions. Craftsmanship could have been a bit better.
- The wood is prone to warping
