My son is 11 years old and the little one is 11 years old. I got the M and it fit a bit, there was a band in the crotch. So I went for L and it fits just the same. I am returning the M and keeping the L as they are almost the same, I might as well keep the L. My son loves her. He ripped the tag off the L so I have no choice but to keep it. Maybe I wanted to look for a better option from another brand, but come on, he likes it, right? The first two waist measurements photos are M. Then I changed M to L. You can see very little difference in size. A 14-year-old teenager has no place in the Bolshoi anyway. It fits my little 11 year old. Order a size larger and you'll be fine.
