My wife bought this rug. I took it out of the box and it was twisted very tightly, with a lot of bumps and didn't lay flat. I moistened the back with water, put two towels in between and ironed. Now it's absolutely flat! As for the color, I think the blue color is very dark, and I don't know what other people are complaining about, other than having a bad phone or computer screen they're browsing! This is a cheap rug but it is definitely high quality and very durable. It is on our doorstep and simply sucks up dirt. This has become the cat's new favorite territory! So forgive the black hair you saw in the picture. I don't think you can go wrong with money, and you can do it right if you're willing to put in some work. Or pay more money and stop complaining! I buy a second one, a little bigger, and put it by the back entrance. 🤙🏼
