Review on Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE scanner black by Mateusz Gniazdowski ᠌

- A little clear menu of the SilverFast program, with the help of which you can only scan - this scanner is "not seen" by other graphic programs. It takes a lot of time to figure out what's what. The description is of little help. You have to use the poke method and common sense. - I think the main drawback is the color shift to blue during the main scan at a resolution higher than 1800 ppi, despite the fact that the color balance is in perfect order on the preview. No adjustments help to change this (at least I did not find any). I only noticed that while the scanner is cold - there is no color shift. This effect weakened after installing a fresh driver, made on the advice of SilverFast support. Now, 2022.03.24 there are no problems with wrong colors. It seems that with the latest ates to the scanning program, this problem has been solved. - There is no mechanization of film feeding for scanning. It is required to sit side by side and advance the frame with a piece of film one frame at a time (no more than 6 frames)
