I read all reviews, like all purchases! And I looked at hundreds of other rugs before I just said forget it, I'll try this one! And yes, the rugs were tightly rolled up, wrapped in plastic so they had some ruffled edges and a few creases, so I rolled them back and smoothed them out a bit before putting them where I wanted them, literally about an hour later. When I put my stools on the ones in the living room, they were gone, and the carpet in my office began to loosen the next morning. So the reviews say their carpets were never installed, they must have had defective carpets is all I can say! It's even softer than I thought it would be and the thickness is perfect and the light and dark gray colors are beautiful and just what I wanted. I'll say I think because I have some blue accents in my spaces the light gray can look a bit blue depending on how you view the color but it's still perfect so don't be afraid of it because it's so thin and when you put it on I don't have anything blue anywhere near I don't think you'll see it at all! I ordered two for my office/playroom and one for my living room. I LOVE HER. To be honest, these rugs lay nicer and felt better than my mom's $200 rug she bought at Home Depot (and her rug was store laid and it still has some raised edges!), so be sure to TRY THIS RUG, IT'S WORTH IT!
