I added a 4" vise to this machine and it is exactly what I expected. The ideal solution. I don't have room for a bench to set up a vise. I use it for welding, cutting, grinding, and projects that don't require a huge vise to hold the work. If you use this product for the purpose it was designed for, you will be very satisfied. If you plan to use it on line or pipe threads larger than 1" in diameter, get a tripod chain vise, LOL.
