I replaced the old dull blades with these. I set them up perfectly and attached them to my 6 inch Delta planer. Unfortunately, after a few passes, I noticed that the wood I was routing had raised lines. Started with a prominent line, then several more became visible. when you look at the blades, each blade has a few nicks, i haven't been using these blades for long, kid, the old blades i had gave me a perfectly even cut, but over time they dulled (for a long time time) . These Powertec blades only lasted a short time before defective teeth became apparent. I use them on maple and oak. I'm a hobbyist and haven't used them in over an hour. I'm disappointed, I would only recommend these blades if you're short on money and have had enough time to sand down the raised lines these blades leave on your work. I suppose I'd rate them lower, but they're cheap - so what can you expect?
