I used a fine tooth hacksaw and box cutter to make the size go away
I replaced the metal version of this after seeing a kid cut his toe very badly. It's safer that way. Metal crunched against the threshold. It took me a little bit to find the right size. I put it on but forgot to cut where the door meets the frame. It holds up so well I had to take the door off its hinges. One is marked, I used a fine tooth hacksaw and box cutter of that size. Hit him with a rubber mallet and a piece of wood. Seals well and no more sharp metal corners!
