VERY easy to install! I decided using two of them was the way to go to support the bottom tier and they work great. You can see in my video that almost all of the springs have been removed from my footpegs and the camper doesn't move at all. The adjustment threads have a fairly fine pitch, so it takes a lot of turning to get them to the right height. The fasteners don't feel rusty to the touch, and for something that's out 24/7 I'm a little worried they might rust, but that's an easy fix with a quick trip to Home Depot. Buy them and try! That's the best $22 you'll spend on your RV!
