Seller, despite many requests for correct size, the seller seems unable to state the obvious in plain language. I bought the 4" version, it fits from 3/4" to 1-3/4" wide bearings. The throat depth is about 3-1/4" which is from the extractor pin to the bottom of the bearing. - Subtract the thickness of the bearing to see if it is suitable for your application they are cheap to use but not cheap, somewhere in the middle in terms of quality good for light duty applications but not too ugly from the bearings I will buying the 6" version which I hope has a 5" neck spacing. To decipher the seller's own description, "4" 40*80mm / 1.6"*3.1". " "4" = Nominal size 40*80 = Largest suitable bearing width = 40mm, Gap depth = 80mm.
