Slightly better description of its size

He did his job. I bought one that was almost too big for my little job. It would be helpful to describe its size a bit better, like e.g. B. its minimum and maximum clamping capacity. It also tends to fall apart easily. If the screws were tight, everything would actually work. Like I said, it did the job I needed so I can't complain too much about the price.

Great little puller

Great little puller for my application of removing bearings from a pair of spa pumps. Beautiful design with side stabilizing bolts and a centering point on the clamping bolt. I was able to remove 4 bearings in minutes. Very beautiful. Perfect clearance for the shaft (.500") and enough depth for a 6" puller. I wrapped tape around the ratchet handle so it wouldn't fall off when I pulled out the bearings. Overall very happy with the quick delivery and functionality of this puller. 2 thumbs up!

Pros
  • Good value for money

  • Only available in black

You need to know this measurement

reference model size 8"70120mm/28"47") What you need to know is the distance between the stabilizer bolts. This distance is 0.75"/ 19mm "The Critical Part Removing something like a bearing from a shaft means being able to install the shaft. Mount the shaft between the stabilizing screws. If the shaft doesn't fit, you can't use the stabilizing screws. If the shaft is larger than is 0.75". in diameter, then the maximum depth is limited by the stabilization screws. .The maximum depth if the shank…

No (legitimate) complaints

I needed a puller to remove the 20mm bearings from the motor shafts. Auto parts and hardware stores don't sell anything under 4 inches, and hobby stores don't sell anything larger than 1/2 inch, so I already knew it wasn't going to be easy. When I received this puller, it didn't fit snugly enough to do the job because the center stabilization screws couldn't be fully screwed in. However, I found shorter screws, put everything together and got exactly what I wanted. necessary. The puller does…

Works with other parts

Needed something to remove the timing belt pulley from the 8mm brushless shaft motor for my electric skateboard. It worked but I had to make an extra shaft to slide it through. I used a 5/16 cut screw. This is because the tip is short and tapered. This is not the product's fault as I used it for something else. However, I have 2 problems: the wings that stick to the ground are not very long so they don't stick too much and slide off. I solved this by using a C-clamp to connect them together so…

Does what it was made for

I used this puller to get into a particularly tight spot under a log splitter hydraulic fitting. The legs really wanted to come out when I started putting real force on them, but I was able to do it with a clamp to keep them from slipping out. I didn't twist the neck, but I applied reasonable pressure to it and nothing broke on the puller. The tie rod is a joke as it is less than 1/4 inch in diameter but luckily you have a hex head. to work with when you really need to rip apart some…

Which size really fits?

Seller, despite many requests for correct size, the seller seems unable to state the obvious in plain language. I bought the 4" version, it fits from 3/4" to 1-3/4" wide bearings. The throat depth is about 3-1/4" which is from the extractor pin to the bottom of the bearing. - Subtract the thickness of the bearing to see if it is suitable for your application they are cheap to use but not cheap, somewhere in the middle in terms of quality good for light duty applications but not too ugly from…
