overheats and blows fuse

My secondary air pump was not working. I bought a 2002 GMC Sonoma about 2 months ago so I don't know how long the pump has been bad. Before replacing the pump, I changed everything on the secondary air injection system. I changed the hoses, pump relay, solenoid valve, solenoid valve, inlet pipe and check valve. After all that was replaced I checked the voltage and made sure the solenoid was working properly. I made sure the new check valve was working properly to prevent water from going back into the pump. I used a 1 inch air compressor filter on the pump inlet to keep dirt or other objects from getting inside that could block the pump. Installed the pump and it is very noisy. He seemed to be doing his job. I drove my truck a few blocks to check it out and when I got home it stopped working. I did some checks and the fuse blew. Changed the fuse and tried again, after a few minutes it blew again. I disconnected the hoses to check the pump to make sure the air wasn't going anywhere and the fuse blew again. I checked the pump and it was so πŸ”₯ that it couldn't be touched. I'm sending the pump back. Now I need to get an Acdelco pump as this brand has not been good. I do not recommend this product.
