Although the picture shows a backpack bag I wasn't sure what I was actually getting but when it arrived this backpack will hold it all! The straps on this backpack are padded which helps as it is not a lightweight telescope. I bought it because I am not an advanced telescope user and would consider myself a beginner and I found this telescope very easy to use. Although I ordered this after the poinsettia went out, I was still able to use it with my family to look at the stars and even the moon. On nights when it's a bit foggy we can still see some stars, but it's much better than trying to look at them with binoculars. We recently did a night hike and were able to see different constellations. We used the free website and no matter what direction we looked we were able to use the website and this telescope and see most of the constellations it showed on the website. While some of them were a little blurry because they were too far away, the ones we could see were sharp and perfect. We were even able to take clear photos and videos of the constellations. Attaching the phone holder was really easy, but we found the image and video quality depended on the phone used. We've never had any issues with image quality on newer phones, but on older phones it's great, but when looking through the lens alone it looks sharp and picture perfect. The tripod is very easy to stabilize even when not on a flat surface. The legs can be easily adjusted so that one side is shorter or longer than the other side or sides. Really easy to move around and you can lock it in place. I am really impressed with the magnification of this telescope and we can clearly see the lunar craters as if they are closer than they really are. This telescope is really easy to use and it's really handy to have a backpack to carry your essentials.
