Essential for new generation laptops

I received this TOTU 11-in-1 USB-C hub for review after buying a similar EUASOO 10-in-1 USB-C hub for my son bought for Christmas. We were very happy with EUASOO but were interested in the 11-in-1. Basically the only difference is that EUASOO has 3 USB 3.0 ports and TOTU has 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports, so one more port at the expense of one less USB 3.0 port (for some people maybe important ). I thoroughly tested TOTU on my 2018 Lenovo X1 Carbon and all ports work very well: - HDMI: Syncs very quickly (tested on Lenovo AIO 2560x1440) and even works on my old 1920x1080. Samsung monitor via HDMI to DVI converter - VGA: delivers a remarkably sharp picture with little ghosting and fringing (but there is some blur compared to HDMI, which is not surprising) - VGA+HDMI: display on two separate monitors simultaneously - SD card: works fine (4GB and 8GB tried), TF slot not tested - USB 2.0: when writing to an external hard drive, I got about 40MB/s (max 60MB/s, but my drive is old) - USB 3.0: works well, but I couldn't test the speed because I didn't have a suitable drive - Ethernet: works well, tested up to 100Mbps - Audio: charges surprisingly (much louder than from my Le novo socket), microphone also works Type of charging connector The C PD is fast, and even with 5 devices connected and charging, TOTU was a little warm at best. Overall I'm very happy with it. As I travel and lecture a lot, HDMI isn't always available (older projectors always have VGA) and I often prefer the wireless hotel ethernet connection (speed and security). Finally, my Lenovo doesn't have a full-size SD card slot. TOTO will replace my separate VGA, Ethernet and SD card adapters. Much less to wear and lose! This is a must have for any new generation laptop owner who needs flexibility.
