I wasn't sure I needed this when I replaced the throttle body. Well, the original was broken too flat to be reused. This gasket fits as it should, resealed. I could have problems then or in the future if I try to reuse a 12 year old pad. No problem. So, for peace of mind and not to delay completing the repair or having to remove and reinstall the TV to replace the gasket, get one of these.
