I think this is one of the best bird toys I have ever bought. I got a very big one for my Eklektus as she can sort toys pretty quickly. She tends to prim roughly, and shredding toys gives her the best outlet for this behavior. She took it right away and started yanking at it while I tried to hang it up. You must have your own quick release buckle to hang it up, but most bird owners have additions from previously destroyed toys, so I don't see this as a disadvantage. She's been working on it for days now, and judging by the mess at the bottom of the cage, you'd think she'd destroyed half of it. But if you look at the toy, there is little damage. This thing should be tightly packed in several layers. This means that it will last longer than expected. When she's done with this I'll be sure to buy another one to add to my toy rotation!
