Review on πŸ”§ Efficient Round Over Edging Router Bit for Smooth Finishes by Casey Vance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bearing does not match blade

Maybe I'm using it wrong - I've just started to use a router - but it looks like I have a bearing on the bit and the blades don't match. This will cut into the bearing side of what you are milling about 1/32 of an inch. See photos. You can see that the right side of the blade is not vertically aligned with the bearing. I suppose I could sand down this comb but thought it would be smoother, especially given all the positive reviews. Unfortunately my returns window closed on May 27th. Luckily I tested it on a small piece of wood. Although for me this thing is practically useless.

Pros
  • Add a rounded edge to various finish edges and projects, or create small moldings that can be used individually or as part of a molding extension
Cons
  • There are nuances
