🔧 Efficient Round Over Edging Router Bit for Smooth Finishes Review

Maybe I'm using it wrong - I've just started to use a router - but it looks like I have a bearing on the bit and the blades don't match. This will cut into the bearing side of what you are milling about 1/32 of an inch. See photos. You can see that the right side of the blade is not vertically aligned with the bearing. I make furniture to order. I needed a 3/4 round cutter and bought Yonico. Milling Tigerwood left a 0.011 inch thick overcut edge on the bearing surface. This is a manufacturing defect. Either the bearing is too small or the cutting blades have been ground too large. I had to sand down the burr it left and then figure out how to get the flush finish. I spit out my nails. I could live with an undercut (not a true 3/4 radius), but not an overcut. I will not buy another Yonico. I would rate this as

I replaced all the cap rails on the patio with 2 x 6s but I needed nice rounded edges at the top. This was my first time using a router so I wasn't sure what exactly I needed. I borrowed from a neighbor because I don't have one. First I watched a few videos and read all the information. You get what you pay for but let me have that said. For the last 3 decades I have worked as a woodworker and have used different router bits of different quality. Yonico bits are mid to low end bits that will do what you need to do if you are careful and patient with them. These aren't top beats that leave a much smoother edge, but you'll have to pay at least twice as much to get this level of quality.
