The standard hotend on my CR-10 kept failing, component after component. First a fan, then another, then the extruder was constantly clogged. I ended up getting tired of messing around with it and just replaced the entire hotend. These include updates to the hot end with a silicone sleeve on the heater block instead of the standard band and thermal blanket. My CR-10 prints like new with this new hotend and installation was quick and easy. Screw the extruder assembly and fan shroud onto the gantry, swap out the wiring (the pre-wired aircraft connector makes this thing worth doing), plug in the bowden tube, and you're good to go. The only caveat is that while a spare bowden hose is included, it doesn't include the pneumatic fittings to actually connect the bowden hose, so you'll have to either buy them separately or scrap your existing ones.
