I don't know what some of the reviewers felt when they said the product was weak. The one I have looks solid and the stopper is solid rubber. I hope it will hold up with repeated use but it looks like we can get a lot of miles on it. One thing I would like to warn users about: these sliders have a weight rating. So if you place heavier objects on them than they are designed, the bearings will most likely wear out sooner. If you get the same as I did and stick to the weight specification I think it will last a long time.
