This is garbage. All three we bought have issues. They are all difficult to turn and only open in one direction. If you try to turn the other way, the door won't open at all. One of them gets stuck when you turn the doorknob, so you have to turn it again to make sure the deadbolt goes into the frame to close the door. Sometimes they get stuck and I can't open the door at all. I've tried turning the handle and I can turn it all the way, but the part that goes into the frame doesn't come out far enough to actually open the door. This is absolute rubbish. Don't worry about her. And I have a hard time believing I got a lemon considering I have three of them and none of them work like a doorknob.
