Just installed it on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. 1) The fan is quiet 2) The included hardware is good except I upgraded the fairing bracket hardware with stainless steel screws (looks better) 3) The fairing assembly has a pristine powder coat finish that outperforms other products on the market. 4) The fan has a protector (some other fans on the market don't have one) 5) The motor temperature fluctuates around 205F6) The design of the thermostat is much better than the capillary design. Probes seen on other products. 7) Fits like a glove. 8) moves a lot of air. (You can feel the air entering the grille from the front of the car.) The wiring allows for more adjustments, such as: B. Manual switching on and off, air conditioning. about connectivity etc. I highly recommend this product as an upgrade for any Jeep TJ. You will notice a significant increase in the strength to get up and go. I wonder if I'll get the MPG. UPDATE: Spring 2015. I'm on my THIRD fan. Fans go out about once a year. (after the warranty expired) I had to upgrade to a heavy duty 35A DC Cole Hears relay and a maxi fuse in addition to the high power draw. I burned the original wires/fuses the whole time. If you are good with electronics I recommend the unit for the cover/brackets and thermostat, but beware of potential wiring issues and fan failures! (Also, Derale is NOT a real fan. Someone else is doing it)
